Gears of War 5's Hive Busters is a lot of fun, introduced some good characters too. Hope you have fun!
I mean, the answer is in my comment HansyJ... it has addictive qualities. I saw it through, did a lot of side content but it was bland overall as an experience. I didn't hate it, I was just disappointed as a general fan of some of their previous titles.
I put in 110 hours, it had some addictive Bethesda qualities that kept me chipping away... even though, you're absolutely correct. It is a really bland title and in my opinion completely lacked that sense of discovery and exploration by taking the hub world route.
I hope we see more of the Hive Busters team!
It's £70 - that's why I haven't picked it up yet.
Comparatively, Hell Divers cost me £35 and I haven't stopped playing since launch.
£70 removes is way out of range from impulse purchasing, particularly with all the great launches from last year I still haven't picked up and are now discounted.
Much preferring the vibe over Dying Light 2, all out fun.
Your comment made me panic it was part of this list already ;)
I only started on Killzone 3, so I could happily have a series reboot to grab me in.
I also think that not gouging everyone on the price (£34.99 on steam right now) plays a big part. It's a great game with a reasonable price point... a bargain on launch.
Doesn't that impact controller input? Make it feel a bit weird no?
Everything outside of the trailers.
I am playing this on Steam... with controller.
It works great.
RE4 VR will be the first big title I pick up on it. I must admit, apart from the odd short session, mine has been gathering dust these past few months.
He was just stating GT7s ray tracing is better than Forza. Turn down your defences.
Current gen RidgeRacer & Wipeout here we come!
That's how I see it, PlayStation will be catering for a different demographic of players than Xbox if true. This gen I've shifted from Xbox to PC when it comes to gamepass playing. But the PS5 is firmly the "home entertainment" system that I couldn't do without, allowing me to unwind in front of the TV and not worry what driver crapped the bed this time.
Pretty fair opinion. I just hit 25 hours, I am enjoying it... but I can't disagree with majority negative opinions people have with it.
I myself enjoy the slow pace, walking around, chatting, finding little hidden story quests etc. But the way this has all been delivered isn't particularly evolved from Fallout 3 days, in some ways regressed.
This is at the very least the new bar. It's everything I have felt has been missing in terms of RPGs these last few years when it comes to narrative and audio.
Lol, so dark (but true).
How many times have you got to blindly run out into a road and get shot before you learn it's not the best tactic :D
It's just people having fun in forge, calm down
